How does your service work?

Generally consensus is reached between one of our managers and our client on what type of service is desired. The client usually has an idea of what type of service is needed (for example on a live-in basis.) We give the client the option to meet with an agency manager first, to discuss services in more detail. Next, all of the parameters of care are entered into the computer, and an agency manager reviews the new client with the scheduling staff. The schedulers then pick the aide which is right for you, and assign the aide to your case.

How much notice do you need before you can provide service?

We generally require very little notice to start service. One business day is always a good rule of thumb; but we have reputation in our communities for being able to staff emergencies on short notice. In some locations, we have aides who are designated for emergencies or urgent cases.

Do you have a minimum requirement of hours?

No, we do not require that our clients maintain a minimum number of hours or visits per week.

What happens if I get admitted into the hospital?

We place your service on hold. We ask that you or a family member call us as soon as is possible.

How do I cancel service?

You cancel service by calling our office.

Is there a fee to cancel service?

There is never a fee to cancel service. Also, we do not require deposits.

Do you administer medications?

No we do not administer medication, however we are able to monitor a client as they take their own medication.

I have bandages or an ostonomy that needs to be changed occasionally; will you be able to change them?

No we do not, medicare should cover this type of service.
