Alzheimer’s Respite Program Provider
If your loved one has Alzheimer’s, then you are already aware of the unique issues surrounding their care. People with Alzheimer’s disease experience changes in their mental capacities. As their ability to remember, reason and communicate weakens, their perception of what is safe and unsafe becomes clouded. In addition, they may experience physical hardships such as immobility or imbalance. Because of mental and physical deficiencies, the individual with Alzheimer’s faces a variety of potentially dangerous situations, especially in and around the home. Alternative offers individualized training to all its caregivers, focusing on recognizing and managing these situations.
