3 Step Hiring Process
Alternatives hiring process is the most demanding in South Florida.
Of all the interested applicants, only 60% meet our stringent hiring qualifications to become an Alternative caregiver.
We require a 3-step testing process before an applicant is eligible for hire:
- Physical transfer of a fully weighted medical mannequin to demonstrate proper body mechanics
- Written exam to assess knowledge of the job decision-making, and intuition
- Verbal and written testing to assure competency and command of the English language for clear communication
In addition, references and work history are verified, and certifications and Level II background screening are required, as per Florida law. Lastly, we proudly complete in-house fingerprinting to corroborate employee identity.
